The main difference between puppy food and adult dog food is that puppy food has more protein, fat, calories, and calcium that help to support a puppy’s growth and development. Since your puppy is growing, they need more nutrients and calories than an adult dog. Once your puppy reaches adulthood, they won’t need as many calories.
